Enjoy a twilight swim at Buckfastleigh open air swimming pool followed by an enjoyable and informative talk about astronomy. If the weather is clear we may even be able to get some observing equipment going to see some of the treats of the Summer sky.
The swimming pool will be heated to a very pleasant 27°C and Numerous tea lights and glow sticks make the pool bewilderingly beautiful. Hot drinks and snacks will be provided, including highly revered mulled cider.
Swimming is from 21.30 – 22.30 followed by hot drinks and star gazing in the park until 23:30.
Tickets are £6 and season tickets, passes and vouchers are not valid for this event.
Tickets will be available from the pool reception during normal opening hours and to buy on line via Eventbrite (NB Eventbrite charges a processing fee which will be added to the cost of the ticket price). Ticket numbers are limited. We expect to sell out, so please buy your ticket early if possible.
